About Chef Adanne

Chef Adanne’s story begins in Monrovia, Liberia. When the civil war erupted, her family fled and resettled in Silver Spring, Maryland — a turning point that shaped her resilience and passion for creating new beginnings. Food became her anchor, connecting her to the flavors of home while inspiring her to embrace the creativity of her new life.

She pursued her formal training at the Art Institute of Atlanta, earning an Associate of Arts in Baking and Pastry, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Culinary Management. With her education as a foundation, Chef Adanne went on to build a career that blends artistry, instruction, and leadership.

Known for her mastery in cake decorating and pastry arts, she transforms desserts into edible works of art, capturing the beauty of life’s celebrations. Her dedication to culinary instruction has allowed her to mentor and teach young people, beginners, and even seasoned home bakers, instilling confidence in the kitchen. This passion for teaching inspired her to launch The Cake and Sip Experience, an interactive event that merges food, fun, and community.
